About Us
Stonegate Glass Chapel opened August 1st, 2000 and has helped thousands of couples have their dream wedding ever since. It started out as just the chapel with a very small dressing room/office combo and has grown into so much more!
Stonegate Glass Chapel was purchased by the Thomas family in 2013. Doug, Dodi, Shalyn, and Daniel had already been in the wedding industry for seven years at the time and had decided that they wanted to have a chance of helping even more couples have their perfect day. The beautiful 2,800 sqft reception hall was added in 2016 and has stayed busy almost every weekend of the year since.
Our goal at Stonegate is to make every bride and groom feel special. We know that not everything can go absolutely perfectly on a wedding day, but we want to do everything that we can to be a part of making it as stress-free as possible. We pride ourselves on always being there for our brides to help with whatever they may need throughout the whole wedding planning process. That is one of the reasons we started having monthly open houses as a way to make ourselves available to each of our couples in person once a month. We have truly enjoyed this opportunity to get to know our couples better! We love getting to see them and their families as they come and plan all the nitty gritty details of a wedding and always hope we are able to help with that in some way.
About the Chapel
The chapel is a 2,400 sqft mostly glass building surrounded by a forrest of mature trees. With so many windows, it truly feels like you are outside, but with the wonderful comfort of having heat or air conditioning depending on the time of year! Seating for your guests consists of 24 pews all with a perfect view of the raised platform where the bride and groom start their marriage together. Above the stage is a beautiful chandelier which acts as one of the centerpieces for many photos. The chapel contains a sound system for any pre-recorded music you might have, or if you prefer live music, the amazing acoustics in the chapel can help with that! The chapel can hold up to 200 guests and is a perfect backdrop for any style of wedding you plan to have!
About the
Reception Hall
The reception hall was built in the summer of 2016 and has really expanded our ability to help with our couples’ wedding needs. At 2,800 sqft, it can comfortably hold 175 guests. The main entrance to the hall is a large completely covered porch that can also act as overflow seating, house the gift table, or be the background for a photo booth! Inside, you will find a large room with windows covering most of the walls similar to those in the chapel. In the center of the room is a large dance floor with built in colorful lights above it for the party portion of the reception. We have a built in bar for either your alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks to be served from. The reception hall is great place to kick off your new marriage with a beautiful celebration!
